The 4th seeded Tennessee Lady Volunteers will face off with the 1 seeded Louisville Cardinals tomorrow, March 26, in a Sweet Sixteen matchup in Wichita, Kansas.

It is win or go home for Kellie Harper’s squad, and the Cardinals will prove to be one of the biggest challenges Tennessee will face. Louisville, winning their games this season by an average of 17 points, plays swallowing defense.

The best defender for Lousiville, Emily Engslter, has over 80 blocks this season and out-rebounded other players on her team by over 100.

The women of Louisville don’t stop at defense, though. Hailey Van Lith, the sophomore guard, is averaging a team high 14 points per game and leads her team in minutes played and free throws. Another lethal scorer is the senior guard Kianna Smith, who leads the team in three-point attempts, makes, and percentage.

The key for the Lady Vols will be controlling the rebounds and scoring outside the paint to avoid blocks.

Tip-off for the Sweet Sixteen matchup will be Saturday, March 26, at 4pm E.T. on ESPN2.
